Founded by an experienced Electrical & Electronics Engineer with expertise in the EV industry, our mission is to accelerate clean mobility adoption in Africa by providing cutting-edge, reliable, and scalable charging solutions.
Our Story
A Vision Sparked by Innovation

Thando E-Mobility Solutions was born from a passion for sustainable energy and electric mobility. Our founder spent years working in the electric vehicle (EV) industry, developing advanced vehicle control and charging systems. Through hands-on experience, it became clear that Africa needed a clean, efficient, and accessible EV charging infrastructure to support the growing shift toward electric transportation.

A Challenge Turned Into an Opportunity

While working in the EV sector, our founder saw a major challenge: charging accessibility and energy reliability in Rwanda and Africa. Many potential EV users worry about charging stations being too far, power being unstable, or solutions being too expensive. We knew the answer lay in solar energy, a natural resource abundant in Rwanda and across Africa.
